What’s included?
Over around 2½ hours, you’ll enjoy a new take on an afternoon tea experience, picking up treats as we go and enjoying sandwiches and cake in two cosy Beverley venues – one of them a historic pub. Your afternoon tea will include:
-
Freshly made sandwiches at our first stop.
-
A sausage roll from a much-loved local producer.
-
A sweet stop for artisan chocolate to pop into your goody bag.
-
A delicious cake tasting platter at our second café stop – the perfect finishing touch.
-
Plenty of freshly brewed tea along the way (or treat yourself to a glass of prosecco at the end if you’d like).
As with all Beverley Bites tours, we’ll also explore the heart of this historic market town. Expect stories of Beverley’s past, insights into the origins of afternoon tea, and a wander through its medieval and Georgian streets and alleyways – but with less walking and more talking than the Full Feast.
Why join?
The Afternoon Tea with Beverley Bites tour is perfect for those who’d like a slower-paced experience, with time to sit down, chat and enjoy a little luxury. Perfect for individuals, friends and families looking for a more leisurely way to explore Beverley - especially at Christmas or for an afternoon out.
Because sometimes history is best served with a slice of cake.
